Creative and Performing Arts

musicdramaThe Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) play an important part in the life of Norwest Christian College and the development of the ‘whole’ person as each student embarks on their journey throughout their school years. Christianity in Action is a central theme to the Creative and Performing Arts faculty with students being encouraged to develop their creative talents and use them for the glory of God. The College also embraces Creative and Performing Arts as part its curriculum and provides many opportunities for students wishing to excel and develop their passion in this area.

From the age of four, students are introduced to music through activities involving, singing, percussion and movement. They are encouraged to enjoy their music and to express themselves through the various activities. Students from Preparatory Class to Year 12 are involved in public and College based performances throughout the year including large scale events.
