AFL Program

The aim of the Norwest AFL Talented Player Program is to offer talented AFL players in Years 7-12 the opportunity to receive expert training and coaching in conjunction with their College education. The program is jointly run with AFL NSW/ACT who provide professional skill and fitness sessions on a weekly basis throught the year. The program consists of:

The program is moving into its fifth year and has been very successful in nurturing talent and enhancing career opportunities for young sportsmen. Many students have progressed to representative level, playing in Combined Indepentant Schools and State teams. The program’s success stories are two very talented students who received cadetships; one with Carlton (2006) and another with the Kangaroos (2008).
