Before & After School Care
The College provides for the care of school aged students before and after school on all school days. The well equipped Out Of School Hours Care (OOSHC) centre and its very experienced staff serve the College community and the local community offering working parents a safe, caring Christian environment for their children. The centre promotes learning and physical development with particular emphasis on play, social interaction and recreational experiences. The centre operates an Active After School Sports program offering children an opportunity to participate in a wide variety of sporting activities. Children have positive stimulating experiences and interactions that foster their self esteem and confidence.
The centre has received a high quality accreditation from NCAC. The fees are very reasonable and families can obtain Childcare Assistance from the Centrelink.

Before School Care: 6.30am – 8.45am
After School Care: 2.45 – 6.30 pm
Before School Care
The centre opens at 6.30am and a healthy breakfast consisting of cereal, toast and fruit is supplied until 8.00am. Children enjoy quiet activities such as puzzles, drawing, construction and finishing off their homework. Children from neighbouring schools are walked to school by a caregiver or placed on a bus at 8.30am.
After School Care
Norwest children are picked up from their classroom, while other schools are met at an arranged meeting place by a carer at specific times. The centre offers the children a healthy afternoon snack consisting of the five food groups. After their snack the children are divided into age appropriate groups where children interact socially in planned activities with both active and passive options. Children are also given the opportunity to do their homework in a well-equipped and quiet working space.
