Secondary Sport Programs

The College aims to offer a wide range of sporting endeavours for its students.

Weekly Sport

Secondary students participate in a variety of sports on a weekly basis. These sports include team sports and recreational sports.

Weekly sport on a Monday afternoon caters for the vast array of interests and abilities that exist in the College. Recreational sports such as Ice Skating, Skate Boarding, Dance, Aerobics and Pilates classes are offered as well as a variety of team sports such as AFL, Rugby League, Cricket, Soccer and Basketball.

Inter-school Competitions

The College competes against other Christian schools throughout the year in a range of sports. Among these sports are:

Carnivals

Secondary students participate in various carnivals throughout the year. These carnivals lead to the selection of College teams that then proceed to representative level.

AFL Program

Norwest’s Talented AFL Player Program offers talented AFL players in Years 7-12 the opportunity to receive expert training and coaching in conjunction with their College education.

College Representation

Competing in these sports presents students with the chance to progress to Zone, Christian Schools State, CIS (Combined independent Schools), NSW All Schools and National level.
