Student Ministry
The College aims to give students the opportunity to put their Christianity into Action.
In the Secondary Years students and staff serve God and the community in a wide range of areas to encourage, educate and edify others. There are many ways that students work towards these goals including student run events and lunchtime discussion and prayer groups.
There are a range of opportunities for students to profess their faith in Christ Jesus and use their God-given gifts and talents. Many students take a special focus on our weekly Chapel services. It is here that Norwest students have the opportunity speak publicly through bible reading, a testimony or a short talk. They can also be involved in the music and technical teams that support the Chapel services.
The College regularly performs at public Fusion events and at local shopping centres, taking the faith ‘on the road’. This gives them the opportunity to express and share their faith to a broader community than their peers.
The College holds an annual mission trip to Vanuatu early in the school year.
